Originally from Edinburgh, John Duncan moved to the Huntly Area over 23 years ago back to his 'family roots' to coin a phrase. With a sound background in Sales & Marketing and the IT industry 'Huntly Computer Services' (HCS) was opened for business in June 1996 and was one of the first in rural North Aberdeenshire. Operating from what was almost a bothy just outside Huntly, it wasn't too long until we decided to move operations to a warmer less damp environment and in 1997 we moved to Aberchirder.

However, with the business once again expanding as well as the family and with an ever-growing customer base, larger workshop facilities and more office space were required to accommodate the growth of HCS and our added Web Based Services.
